Slack

The Slack integration connects your Shawer bot to a Slack workspace, allowing team members to ask questions and receive answers directly in Slack.

Coming Soon — This integration is currently under development. The configuration page is available in the dashboard but the full setup is not yet active.

What to expect

When available, the Slack integration will allow you to:

• Install your Shawer bot as a Slack app in your workspace
• Respond to direct messages and channel mentions
• Use the same knowledge base and behavior rules as all other channels
• Track Slack conversations in your analytics dashboard

Preparation

While the integration is not yet active, you can prepare by:

1. Creating a Slack app at api.slack.com/apps
2. Configuring the app with bot token scopes for reading and sending messages
3. Saving the Bot Token and Signing Secret — you will need them when the integration launches
